Joel Osteen:
"Hello, friends.
I’m so honored that you’re here with us today.
We’re gathering around one simple but life-changing truth:
The words you attach to 'I Am' will either lift you into your destiny — or they’ll limit your life.
When you speak 'I am blessed,' 'I am healthy,' 'I am favored,' you’re releasing the power of heaven into your circumstances.
You’re not just describing where you are — you’re calling in what God already has lined up for you.
Today, we’re joined by some incredible voices — people who have lived these principles, people who understand the creative, spiritual, and even scientific power behind the words you choose.
My hope is that through these conversations, you’ll be inspired to choose your words more carefully,
to speak victory even when you see defeat,
to declare abundance even when you feel lack,
and most of all, to step into the life God designed for you —
one 'I Am' at a time.
Let’s get started."
(Note: This is an imaginary conversation, a creative exploration of an idea, and not a real speech or event.)

The Invisible Power of Words: How 'I Am' Shapes Reality
Moderator:
Joel Osteen
Participants:
Pam Grout, Saito Hitori, Florence Scovel Shinn, Neville Goddard, Louise Hay
Joel Osteen (Moderator):
"Welcome, everyone. I’m so excited you're here today.
You know, the words we speak about ourselves set the direction for our lives.
It’s easy to think that 'I Am' statements are just casual, but they’re far from it.
They’re invitations. Declarations. Seeds for your future.
So let's dive in. Pam, can you start us off?
Why do you think the words we attach to 'I Am' are so powerful in shaping our reality?"
Pam Grout:
"Thank you, Joel. I love that you called them seeds — that's exactly how I see it.
When you say something after 'I Am,' you're handing the Universe a blueprint.
You’re telling it, 'This is who I am; this is what I expect.'
And the Universe is infinitely obedient. It doesn’t judge.
It doesn’t ask, 'Are you sure you want that?'
It simply says, 'Okay, you said it — let’s build it.'
So if you keep saying, 'I am tired,' 'I am unlucky,' 'I am broke,'
you’re giving energy to that blueprint.
But when you flip it — even before your circumstances change — when you start saying, 'I am blessed,' 'I am thriving,' 'I am expanding,'
you set in motion a completely different future."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s so powerful, Pam. I always say, you have to talk like it's happening even when you don't see it yet.
Faith speaks before it sees.
Hitori-san, in your beautiful teachings, you talk a lot about the power of words. How do you see 'I Am' statements working in everyday life?"
Saito Hitori:
"In Japan, Joel, we believe that words are living beings — we call it 'kotodama.'
Each word has a spirit.
When you say 'I am happy,' you call the spirit of happiness to you.
When you say 'I am unlucky,' even lucky opportunities will avoid you.
So every morning, I tell people:
Before you even brush your teeth, speak three 'I Am' blessings to yourself.
'I am lucky.' 'I am loved.' 'I am getting better every day.'
Because your day is shaped not by the weather or the traffic — it’s shaped by what spirit you invited first."
Joel Osteen:
"I love that, Hitori-san. Invite the right spirit first thing in the morning.
Florence, you taught about this decades ago — long before the world caught up.
How would you describe the creative power hidden in 'I Am'?"
Florence Scovel Shinn:
"Thank you, Joel. Yes, even in the 1920s, I saw it — words are the keys to the invisible.
The subconscious mind — the deep creative part of us — accepts whatever we consistently declare.
It doesn’t filter or question.
So when you say, 'I am successful,' even before evidence appears,
your subconscious goes to work aligning situations, opportunities, and even your own intuition to make it real.
It’s like placing an order in a restaurant.
Once you order, you don’t run back into the kitchen and argue with the chef.
You trust the food will come.
The same is true with your 'I Am.'
Declare it — then stay seated at the table of faith."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s a beautiful image, Florence — stay seated at the table of faith.
Neville, your work really brings the spiritual dimension into this conversation.
How do you see 'I Am' connecting to the divine?"
Neville Goddard:
"'I Am' is the purest name of God.
When Moses asked the burning bush, 'Who shall I say sent me?'
the answer was, 'I Am that I Am.'
When you speak 'I Am,' you are invoking that same divine creative power within yourself.
You are not calling to something outside you — you are awakening what is already inside you.
And so, when you say, 'I am weak,' you shrink your divine light.
When you say, 'I am strong,' you ignite it.
It is no small thing to say 'I Am.'
It is the holiest utterance we are given."
Joel Osteen:
"Wow. That really brings it home, Neville — the holiness of what we speak.
Louise, I know you’ve helped millions learn to speak differently to themselves.
What would you say to someone who maybe doesn’t feel strong yet but wants to start speaking better 'I Am' statements?"
Louise Hay:
"I would say: Start gently.
Sometimes it feels too far to go from 'I am hopeless' to 'I am magnificent' in one leap.
So you can start with: 'I am willing to see myself differently.'
'I am open to discovering my strength.'
'I am learning to love myself.'
The subconscious mind doesn’t resist these softer bridges.
And over time, as you repeat and nourish yourself with kindness,
you find you can move to 'I am strong,' 'I am loved,' 'I am enough.'
The key is persistence with love — not with pressure."
Joel Osteen:
"I love that so much, Louise.
It’s not about pretending you’re somewhere you’re not — it’s about inviting yourself to grow into it, step by step."
Joel smiles warmly, looking around at all the gathered faces.
"You know, listening to all of you reminds me of something very simple, but very life-changing:
Words create worlds.
And the world you’re living in tomorrow is being built by the words you’re speaking today.
When you say, 'I am blessed,' 'I am strong,' 'I am healthy,'
you are calling out the seeds God planted inside you before you were even born.
You’re watering your destiny.
You may not see the fruit yet, but trust — it’s growing.
And just like the seed pushes through the soil even when you can't see it,
your words are making a way even when the circumstances look the same.
So stay bold with your 'I Am.'
Speak it even when you don't feel it.
Declare it even when you don't see it.
Because when you do, you’re not just changing your life —
you’re aligning with the life God already prepared for you."
Joel smiles again, calm, uplifting.
"And the beautiful part is — it's never too late to start."
Self-Image as a Magnet: Attracting Blessings or Blockages
Moderator:
Joel Osteen
Participants:
Pam Grout, Saito Hitori, Joe Dispenza, Bob Proctor, Marisa Peer
Joel Osteen (Moderator):
"Welcome back, everyone.
One thing I’ve seen over and over is that life doesn’t respond just to what we want — it responds to who we believe we are.
Our self-image acts like a magnet, pulling in either blessings or barriers.
That’s why in The Power of I Am, I encourage people to start seeing themselves the way God sees them — strong, capable, valuable.
Let’s talk about that today.
Pam, could you start us off?
How does our self-image — the way we talk to ourselves inside — create what shows up in our lives?"
Pam Grout:
"Absolutely, Joel.
I love how you frame it: it’s not just what you want — it's who you believe yourself to be.
The self-image acts like the thermostat setting for your entire experience.
You might say you want wealth, joy, connection — but if deep down you still whisper 'I am not good enough,' or 'I am unlucky,' then that’s the temperature you’re setting.
Your subconscious — and even the Universe — will work to match it.
Changing your self-image isn’t about vanity.
It’s about aligning your inner story with the blessings that are already lined up for you."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s so true, Pam. You have to see yourself as blessed before you’ll live blessed.
Hitori-san, you teach so beautifully about the small daily words that build a person’s future.
How do you see self-image shaping what comes into someone’s life?"
Saito Hitori:
"In Japan, Joel, we say '心の姿が運命を作る' —
'The shape of your heart creates your destiny.'
If you see yourself as unlucky, your actions, your choices, even your reactions change — and luck slips away.
If you see yourself as a blessed person, you stand taller, you smile differently, and blessings feel invited.
So I tell people:
Don’t just affirm 'I am happy' —
Feel yourself wearing happiness like a favorite coat.
Don’t just say 'I am rich' —
Walk like you’re already carrying invisible treasure.
The body follows the mind, and reality follows the body."
Joel Osteen:
"I love that — wear it like a coat, walk like you're already blessed.
Joe, from a scientific perspective, you have such powerful insights on this.
Could you share how our self-image literally programs what we experience?"
Joe Dispenza:
"Sure, Joel.
The brain is a record of the past — it’s built by the thoughts and feelings we’ve repeated most often.
If you’ve rehearsed thoughts like 'I am unworthy' or 'I am weak,' your brain wires that pattern into your identity.
Then, without realizing it, you make choices that confirm that pattern.
But the exciting part is:
You can rewire it.
When you start speaking and visualizing new 'I Am' statements — and you truly feel them — you create new neural pathways.
Your brain begins to build a new map.
And because the brain and body are connected, your actions, your emotions, even the opportunities you recognize begin to shift to match that new self-image."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s incredible, Joe.
God didn’t design us to stay stuck.
He gave us the ability to renew our minds.
Bob, you've worked with people for decades on shifting their paradigms.
How would you describe the link between self-image and results?"
Bob Proctor:
"Joel, I always say, your results are a reflection of your internal self-concept — nothing more, nothing less.
You can’t outperform your self-image.
If you see yourself as average, no matter how hard you work, you’ll unconsciously pull yourself back to average.
But if you change that image — if you affirm 'I am a winner,' 'I am successful,' 'I am favored' — and you plant it deeply with repetition and emotion, you change your internal thermostat.
And life has no choice but to rise to meet it."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s so powerful, Bob — you can’t outperform the image you hold inside.
Marisa, you’ve helped so many people reprogram their beliefs about themselves.
What would you say to someone who struggles to even say a positive 'I Am' because they don’t feel it yet?"
Marisa Peer:
"Such a good question, Joel.
The first thing I teach is this:
Your mind believes what you tell it — especially when you tell it with repetition and certainty.
You don’t have to feel it first — you speak it first, and the feelings will start to catch up.
I encourage people to start with 'I am enough.'
Three small words — but life-changing.
Say it in the shower. Say it driving to work. Write it on your mirror.
Your mind accepts repetition as truth.
So even if the first time you say, 'I am worthy,' and it feels like a lie —
keep saying it.
Soon, the words stop being visitors and start becoming home."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s beautiful, Marisa.
It’s not about waiting until you feel worthy — it’s about speaking it until you live worthy."
Joel looks around at the gathered panel, his smile wide and filled with gratitude.
"You know, listening to each of you today reminds me of something so powerful:
Life doesn’t just happen to us.
It flows through the filter of how we see ourselves.
If you walk around thinking, 'I am blessed,' 'I am favored,' 'I am equipped,'
you draw in what matches that expectation.
You don’t even have to force it — it will come looking for you.
But if you carry around an image of 'I am unworthy,' 'I am unlucky,'
then even good opportunities can feel out of reach, because you won’t recognize them.
That’s why it’s so important — not someday, but today — to start speaking a new story over yourself.
Speak it before you see it.
Declare it while it’s still on the way.
Because every time you say, 'I Am strong,' 'I Am capable,' 'I Am blessed,'
you’re reaching out and grabbing hold of the future God already prepared for you.
You’re not just speaking positive words —
you’re waking up the greatness that’s been inside you all along."
Joel’s voice softens with kindness.
"And the beautiful thing is, even if you've spoken the wrong things in the past, it’s never too late to change the conversation."
The Playfulness of Belief: Laughing Your Way to a New Identity
Moderator:
Joel Osteen
Participants:
Pam Grout, Saito Hitori, Ken Honda, Tina Fey, Bob Goff
Joel Osteen (Moderator):
"Welcome back, everyone.
Today, we're going to have a little fun — because one of the most powerful but overlooked parts of faith and transformation is joy.
Sometimes, we think if we’re not serious enough, things won’t change.
But the truth is, God created joy as a magnet for miracles.
You don't have to be solemn to shift your identity — sometimes the fastest way to a new life is to laugh your way into it.
Pam, you have such a playful spirit — could you start us off?
How does playfulness help transform our beliefs and identity faster than struggle or willpower?"
Pam Grout:
"Thank you, Joel — and thank you for setting such a light, beautiful tone.
I’ve always believed that playfulness opens the heart faster than anything else.
When you’re playful, you’re not gripping the outcome.
You’re not micromanaging the 'how' — you’re flowing with the magic of possibility.
'I Am' declarations, when spoken with a smile or a wink, carry a completely different energy than when they're spoken with desperate seriousness.
When you say, 'I am lucky,' and you actually feel a little mischievous joy inside, you vibrate at a frequency that life loves to respond to."
Joel Osteen:
"I love that, Pam — loosen your grip and let your spirit rise.
Hitori-san, you’re someone who blends humor and spiritual wisdom so beautifully.
How do you teach people to use laughter and lightness to transform their lives?"
Saito Hitori:
"In Japan, we say '笑う門には福来る' —
'Good fortune comes to the house where there is laughter.'
When you laugh, your spirit becomes open.
When you are heavy, even blessings cannot enter.
So I tell people: Before you pray, before you affirm —
smile first.
If you feel foolish, perfect!
God loves a joyful heart.
Then when you say, 'I am happy,' or 'I am lucky,' it travels farther — it shines brighter."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s beautiful, Hitori-san — smile first, then speak.
Ken, your teachings on happiness and money have reached so many.
What role does playfulness play in becoming abundant and joyful?"
Ken Honda:
"Joel, I think the most important thing to remember is:
You cannot attract abundance if you are anxious or desperate.
Abundance is a light, easy frequency.
When you say, 'I am wealthy,' it’s not just a financial number — it’s a feeling of plenty inside your heart.
And nothing activates that feeling faster than gratitude and play.
Even when money was tight in my life, I would say, 'I am blessed with invisible wealth.'
And I would say it laughing, like I was sharing a secret with the Universe.
That playful trust opened more doors for me than any business plan."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s powerful, Ken — playful trust opens the doors.
Tina, you bring humor into everything you do.
How would you say laughter helps people believe new things about themselves?"
Tina Fey:
"Thank you, Joel — and let me just say, this is the most joyful panel I’ve ever been on!
I think laughter is one of the quickest ways to sneak past your brain’s defenses.
When you’re laughing, you're not overthinking — you're not judging yourself.
You’re wide open.
So if you can laugh and say something like, 'I am a magnificent miracle walking around in human form,'
you’re much more likely to believe it deep down than if you just mumble it while worrying about your grocery list.
Joy is the trojan horse that gets your new identity inside without resistance."
Joel Osteen:
"I love that, Tina — joy sneaks your greatness in when doubt isn’t looking.
Bob, your whole life is a living example of playful love in action.
How do you see fun and lightheartedness helping people live their 'I Am' declarations?"
Bob Goff:
"I think, Joel, that when we stop trying so hard to 'become' and just start being, everything gets easier.
When I tell myself, 'I am wildly loved,'
I don't just sit in a chair and chant it — I go out and live like it’s already true.
I smile at strangers.
I send goofy texts to my friends.
I buy extra donuts and pretend I’m a millionaire for the day.
Faith is fun when you let it be.
And when you live in that space, you realize:
God’s love isn’t serious business.
It’s joyful, playful, and totally, totally contagious."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s so good, Bob — faith is fun when you let it be."
Joel pauses for a moment, looking at each of the speakers with a big, thankful smile.
"You know, hearing all of you today reminds me that joy isn't just a nice bonus on the spiritual path — it’s a key ingredient.
When you laugh, when you smile, when you loosen your grip and let yourself play a little,
you’re not being careless — you’re being faith-filled.
Because joy says, 'I trust that good is coming.'
Joy says, 'I believe the blessing is already mine.'
When you say, 'I am blessed,' and you laugh with delight, you’re making room for miracles to land.
You’re stepping into your inheritance with open arms.
So don’t be afraid to be playful with your dreams.
Dance a little when you speak your 'I Am.'
Laugh when you say, 'I am wildly favored.'
Because when you do, you’re showing God that your heart is ready for the gifts He’s already prepared for you."
Joel closes with a soft, joyful chuckle.
"And honestly — life’s too short not to laugh while you're being blessed."
The Spiritual Science of Affirmations: Aligning with the Universe’s Frequency
Moderator:
Joel Osteen
Participants:
Pam Grout, Saito Hitori, Esther Hicks (Abraham), Gregg Braden, Louise Hay
Joel Osteen (Moderator):
"Hello again, everybody.
Today, we’re going even deeper — because there’s something powerful happening behind the scenes when you speak positive words over your life.
It’s not just about feeling good in the moment.
There’s a real, spiritual, even scientific alignment taking place.
When you declare 'I Am blessed,' you’re tuning your life into the frequency of God’s goodness.
Let’s explore that together.
Pam, would you start us off?
What’s really happening in the unseen realm when we speak strong 'I Am' statements?"
Pam Grout:
"Thank you, Joel.
I believe that words — especially 'I Am' words — are vibrational signals we send out into the quantum field.
It's like broadcasting a frequency.
If you declare 'I am full of joy,' you’re tuning your energy to the joy channel — and guess what?
Joy starts picking up your signal.
When you stay in that frequency long enough, the physical world rearranges itself to reflect it.
We think we have to push and strive and struggle to make life work — but really, life is mostly about setting the right signal and letting the Universe do what it naturally wants to do: bring us blessings."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s so powerful, Pam.
It’s not about chasing blessings — it’s about broadcasting faith.
Hitori-san, you talk often about the unseen power of words.
What happens spiritually when we speak our 'I Am' declarations?"
Saito Hitori:
"In Japan, Joel, we honor words as sacred tools.
They are bridges between the heart and the Universe.
When you say, 'I am grateful,' you open a path for gratitude to walk into your life.
When you say, 'I am unlucky,' you block the path.
Words are like spiritual traffic signals.
Green light: 'I am healthy.'
Red light: 'I am tired.'
The Universe moves according to your signs — not because it judges, but because it honors your authority.
We are children of the divine, and what we declare with feeling becomes law in our personal world."
Joel Osteen:
"I love that, Hitori-san — we’re setting spiritual traffic signals with our words.
Esther, your teachings about vibration and alignment have helped so many people understand this from a higher perspective.
How do you explain what happens when someone really starts living their 'I Am' statements?"
Esther Hicks (Abraham):
"Thank you, Joel.
It’s really very simple:
When you speak an 'I Am' declaration and feel good about it, you’re tuning yourself into the energy stream of everything you desire.
'I Am abundant' — if said with joy — connects you to the frequency where abundance already exists.
'I Am loved' — said with ease — aligns you with the love that’s already flowing to you.
The problem is, people often say positive words but feel doubt underneath.
The key is to find affirmations that actually feel good now, even if they’re small.
'I Am open to blessings.'
'I Am learning to love myself.'
Feel good first — then speak it — and the whole Universe responds."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s so good, Esther — feel it first, then affirm it.
Gregg, you’ve written about how ancient wisdom and modern science are now saying the same things.
Could you share how this aligns with what researchers are discovering about energy and creation?"
Gregg Braden:
"Absolutely, Joel.
Modern physics shows that the act of observation — your attention, your expectation — literally influences how atoms behave.
Your focus shapes your world.
When you declare 'I Am' statements, you’re not just encouraging yourself psychologically —
you’re interacting with the very fabric of reality.
In ancient traditions — whether it’s prayer, chant, or affirmation — they understood that human emotion, spoken with intention, moves matter.
The words you speak combined with the emotion you feel are powerful creation forces.
You’re not begging God to bless you — you’re aligning with the blessings that are already part of the field of infinite possibilities."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s incredible, Gregg — you’re not begging; you’re aligning.
Louise, you’ve spent your whole career teaching people to heal and grow through affirmations.
How do you see 'I Am' statements working from a spiritual healing perspective?"
Louise Hay:
"Thank you, Joel.
Every illness, every hardship I encountered in my clients, could be traced back to harsh inner dialogue — the negative 'I Am' statements they repeated without even realizing it.
'I am powerless.'
'I am unworthy.'
'I am hopeless.'
When we turned those around — when they started saying, 'I am lovable,' 'I am strong,' 'I am healing' —
their lives began to shift on every level: emotionally, physically, spiritually.
Affirmations are not magic spells — they are invitations to remember your true nature.
And your true nature is always abundance, love, and light."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s so encouraging, Louise — affirmations remind us of who we’ve always been."
Joel pauses, looking around at the glowing faces of the speakers, his own heart full of gratitude.
"You know, listening to you all today reminds me that when we speak our 'I Am' declarations, we’re not trying to create something from scratch.
We’re tuning in to what God already planted in us.
When you say, 'I am blessed,' 'I am favored,' 'I am victorious,'
you’re not making it true — you’re agreeing with the truth that’s been waiting for you to claim it.
You’re aligning your life with the high frequency of heaven.
And the more you affirm it with joy and faith, the more your outer world will start to look like the victory God already sees in you.
It’s not about striving.
It’s about remembering.
It’s about stepping into the current of favor that’s been flowing toward you all along.
So let’s keep speaking life.
Let’s keep speaking favor.
Let’s keep tuning our hearts to the frequency where all things are possible."
Joel smiles warmly, his voice full of hope.
"And let’s watch what amazing things start to show up."
From Scarcity to Abundance: Flipping Your Inner Language Game
Moderator:
Joel Osteen
Participants:
Pam Grout, Saito Hitori, T. Harv Eker, Rhonda Byrne, Nick Sasaki
Joel Osteen (Moderator):
"Welcome back, everybody.
What a blessing it’s been walking through these conversations together.
Today, we’re bringing it home — talking about how changing our inner language from scarcity to abundance changes everything.
The words you speak over your life aren’t just casual — they either lift you into God’s abundance or they lock you into limitation.
That’s why in The Power of I Am, I encourage people to stop speaking lack and start speaking favor.
Pam, let’s start with you.
Why is changing the way we talk to ourselves the key to moving from scarcity to true abundance?"
Pam Grout:
"Thank you, Joel.
I think a lot of people don't realize that abundance isn’t something we earn — it's something we tune into.
Scarcity isn’t just a condition — it's a broadcast.
When you walk around thinking 'I am broke,' 'I am stuck,' you’re sending out a scarcity signal.
And like a cosmic radio, life plays back the matching song.
But the moment you shift and start saying, 'I am blessed,' 'I am growing,' 'I am provided for,'
you change the station.
And the blessings that were already waiting for you can finally find their way into your life."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s such a great image, Pam — we’re not waiting for blessings to show up, we’re tuning in to them.
Hitori-san, your teachings on prosperity have helped so many people change their destiny.
What do you tell people who feel trapped in scarcity?"
Saito Hitori:
"In Japan, Joel, we say '言葉は福を呼ぶ' —
'Words invite blessings.'
If you say, 'I am poor,' blessings feel unwelcome and stay away.
But if you say, 'I am lucky,' even a small coin feels like a treasure from heaven.
It’s not about lying to yourself — it’s about calling forth the abundance that’s already waiting nearby.
I tell people:
Start by blessing what you already have.
Bless your shoes.
Bless your coffee.
Bless your smile.
Say, 'I am already rich,'
and soon, the richness multiplies around you."
Joel Osteen:
"I love that, Hitori-san — bless what you already have and more will come.
Harv, your book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind has helped so many people break free from scarcity thinking.
What’s the number one inner language shift you recommend?"
T. Harv Eker:
"Thanks, Joel.
The number one shift is this:
Stop saying 'I can't afford it' — start saying 'How can I afford it?'
Scarcity says 'no' — abundance asks 'how.'
Language either shuts down possibility or opens it wide.
When you say, 'I am a creator of wealth,' even if you’re starting with nothing,
your mind starts looking for ideas, opportunities, and connections.
Your subconscious mind is the world's most powerful search engine —
but it only searches what you tell it to.
Feed it abundance, and it will find abundance."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s so practical, Harv — shift from 'no' to 'how.'
Rhonda, The Secret introduced millions to the Law of Attraction.
How important is 'I Am' language when it comes to moving from scarcity to abundance?"
Rhonda Byrne:
"It’s everything, Joel.
The Universe responds not to what you want, but to what you believe you already are.
If you say, 'I am abundant,' even when your wallet looks empty, you are shifting your energy to match the vibration of abundance.
Gratitude and belief are magnets.
Even small declarations like 'I am grateful for the money coming my way'
or 'I am open to prosperity'
start reprogramming your life toward abundance.
The words you say are planting tomorrow’s harvest."
Joel Osteen:
"I love that, Rhonda — every word is a seed for tomorrow.
Nick, you've brought such a wise and fresh voice to these conversations.
What’s been your personal experience flipping your inner language from scarcity to abundance?"
Nick Sasaki:
"Thank you, Joel.
For me, the real change started when I realized abundance wasn’t just about money — it was about how I showed up in the world.
I used to catch myself thinking, 'I am behind,' 'I am missing out,' 'I am not enough yet.'
But once I started speaking differently —
'I am right where I need to be,'
'I am already blessed beyond measure,'
'I am connected to endless opportunities' —
my emotions changed first.
Then, little by little, my outer life followed.
Abundance is a feeling before it’s a fact.
And it starts with what you’re willing to declare over yourself, even on the days when your eyes can’t see it yet."
Joel Osteen:
"That’s powerful, Nick — abundance is a feeling before it’s a fact."
Joel lets the conversation breathe for a moment, the weight of everyone's heartfelt words hanging gently in the air.
"You know, what strikes me listening to all of you today is this:
Scarcity is not just about not having enough — it’s about seeing yourself as not enough.
And abundance isn’t just about having a lot — it’s about realizing you already are a lot.
When you start saying, 'I am blessed,' 'I am favored,' 'I am increasing,'
you’re not being arrogant — you’re being obedient to the truth God already placed inside you.
You’re agreeing with heaven.
And when you agree with heaven, heaven agrees with you.
You start stepping into opportunities you couldn’t have orchestrated,
doors start opening that you didn’t even knock on,
and blessings start chasing you down.
Not because you worked harder, but because you spoke differently.
Because you chose to see yourself as God already sees you:
loved, equipped, abundant, and destined for greatness."
Joel’s voice softens, full of encouragement.
"So I encourage you — no matter where you are today — start flipping your inner language.
Speak life over your finances.
Speak favor over your dreams.
Speak abundance over your future.
Because the life you’re speaking today is the life you’ll be living tomorrow."
Joel smiles warmly, a spark of excitement in his eyes.
"And I believe your tomorrow is going to be even greater than you imagine."
Final Thoughts by Joel Osteen
"You know, friends, listening to all these powerful voices today reminds me of something so simple but so important:
Your words matter.
Your 'I Am' matters.
Every time you say, 'I am strong,' 'I am blessed,' 'I am favored,'
you’re watering the seeds of greatness that God planted inside you before you were even born.
You may not see the harvest today,
but keep speaking it.
Keep declaring it.
Keep agreeing with what God says about you — not what the circumstances say, not what fear says.
Because what you speak, you will eventually see.
Victory starts with your words.
Healing starts with your words.
Abundance starts with your words.
So stay bold in your declarations.
Stay faithful in your confession.
And get ready — because the future you’re speaking into existence is going to be more amazing, more abundant, and more blessed than you could have ever imagined.
In Jesus’ name, Amen."
